Elizabeth House is a long-term (6-12 months) residential care home with a loving, dedicated staff and family environment for women and their children to give them a chance to heal, save money for a decent home, get off welfare and achieve financial independence.

There are many adoption agencies willing to help you and answer any questions about your rights as a birthmother. You can find out more about adoption at www.adoptionshepherdcare.com and www.lifeforkids.com .

Hospitals require you have a carseat for your newborn before you leave the hospital.  We recommend you plan ahead as much as possible.  If you need a carseat for your baby, you can find a fitting station schedule at www.seminolesafekids.org – select “Child Passenger Safety” and then select “Car seat fitting station schedule”
